Glitter Acoustic aka (Take 2) |
| Lord where to start on this one! First off it is a Fender CD
110E Acoustic Electric. This was the guitar was originally going to be the
rhinestone guitar. I took it to a new painter which turned out to be
a nightmare. With out getting into it he just did a horrible job. So I had
to start sanding it down and get his paint and clear coat off of it and
start over.
Since the original plan was to make this the Rhinestone guitar I cut the top of the head stalk to look more like a Taylor guitar. I finally took it to Road Runner Paint & Body where I should have taken it in the first place to have it completely repainted. All I can say is that Ricky & Eddie at RRP&B are magicians. They took this poor guitar and made it look like a million dollars. It has a paint job on it that rivals anything any Guitar Custom shop could do. The guitar has a pretty complicated paint job on it. On top of that it needed some serious preparation and body work before it could be painted. The paint is actually a gold basecoat with multiple layers of tangerine candy coat. Then a ton of the F37 Gold flake. The guitar was painted exclusively with House Of Kolor products.
