Chris & Garbage

These pictures were taken the first time that I met Garbage December 1, 1996. I was first in line and waited 8 hours to meet them. The guy brought Garbage to the signing said "No pictures with the band". I asked Shirley if I could get a picture. She said get up here and get your picture taken with us.

These were taken when Garbage was opening for Alanis in Dallas, Texas on March 17, 1999. The band had put an amazing set during this tour Shirley had her arm in a sling. The band was doing a radio interview and I called the radio station. I managed to talk to Shirley and she had two "Meet & Greet" passes left for me. I remember Shirley walking up to me at the meet and greet and saying "Mr. Sanchez you made it".

These were taken on November 4, 2002. When Garbage was in town with No Doubt. I met Duke, Steve, & Daniel in the lobby of the hotel they were staying in town. I used a digital camera for the first time never again. All the guys were really cool and signed my license plates for me. I was excited to finally get my picture taken with Daniel.

I was at a Know It All Boyfriends show in Madison, Wi on July 26, 2003. I was chatting with Butch when Shirley walked in. It was cool to see Shirley just walking up the street. I chatted with her and she told me about the surgery that she had on her throat and what she had been up to lately. I asked Shirley if I could get a picture of her for my web site. She replied only if you are in it with me.
